CONCEPCION

SS 2026
Weise’s SS 2026 collection is a tribute to women as the invisible structure that sustains, protects, and creates. Inspired by Bolivian motherhood, the collection explores the maternal embrace as both an intimate and collective gesture. Each piece reflects how motherhood is lived in Eastern Bolivia, drawing from the recurring imagery of la madre camba portrayed by artist Herminio Pedraza, and from memories of the designer's childhood, her grandmother's garden, and traditional gatherings such as the Sarao. The braided motif repeats throughout the collection as a symbol of support, echoing the woven palms of the Jasayé and the Urupé. The garments embrace the body, carrying heritage, protection, and continuity through craftsmanship: a tribute to women who hold, nurture, and transform the world around them.
